Private work and contributions

You may store full packs privately when you have the rights to use them. Saving private work does not publish it or accept the publication grant. Administrators may inspect submitted private work. Copies of paid designs require download entitlement and remain private; they cannot be offered as public fork listings.

Sending a change request shares its fixed proposal with the original creator and administrators. Later edits are not included automatically. By confirming the contribution terms you permit the creator to use your proposed changes under the source license and platform submission grant. Request participants retain access to the submitted snapshot after a request is closed or withdrawn. Acceptance creates an update on the original design for rendering and moderation, preserving its price and purchase identity.

Making a previously published listing private preserves purchasers' access to the last approved pack, not unpublished drafts. Staff publication holds can still suspend downloads. A public change request must use an approved public fork of a currently free source.

Listing edits and installation photos

Text-only listing edits and installation photos are reviewed before publication. Photo submitters must own the photo or have permission to share it under the displayed community license and platform submission grant. Captions, credits and the submitted pack version are displayed with approved photos. Publication review is not a device compatibility certification.

Using the community portal

Gauge.S / sorek.uk operates this community portal. Browsing and previews are public. Downloading packs and opening them in the editor require a verified account and, for a points-priced design, the applicable purchase or creator/staff access.

Use an account you control. Submit designs and assets that you own or have permission to distribute under your selected license and the submission grant below. Do not submit infringing material, abusive content, misleading listings or content intended to interfere with the portal or another person's device.

You may create a scoped agent API key for downloading packs you are entitled to edit and creating private drafts or design submissions. A submission-enabled key requires an explicit Terms authorization when created. Requests remain attributed to your account and subject to the same license, purchase, rendering and moderation rules; the key cannot buy designs, spend points, change prices or perform moderation/account actions.

Your copyright and submission grant

You retain all copyright in designs you submit. By submitting a design to portal.sorek.uk you grant sorek.uk a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify and distribute the design — in whole or in part — and to incorporate it into any Gauge.S product (hardware, firmware, software, documentation or marketing) at our sole discretion, without additional compensation.

Community members may download and use approved designs under CC-BY-NC 4.0 unless the author offers different terms through the listing's selected community license. Attribution and other conditions of that license continue to apply to edited or redistributed copies. Read the license explanations and full license links.

Points and purchases

Designs are free by default. Creators may set a points price after approval. Eligible verified shop-order claims receive floor(order total in pence ÷ 100) points: one point per £1. Claims are checked by staff; submitting a claim does not itself grant points.

Points are portal credits, not a cash balance or a cash payout service. Before buying, review the displayed price and license. A purchase debits the buyer and credits the creator, and gives access to subsequently approved versions even if the price changes. Following a design or downloading it while free is not a points purchase.

Listings can be withdrawn following review; withdrawn packs are not available for new downloads. Contact us about an incorrect claim, purchase or listing. Account history and ledger entries are retained for integrity; corrections use recorded adjustments rather than rewriting transactions.

Moderation and reports

Submissions and updates are reviewed before publication. Staff may reject a submission, withdraw a published design, remove abusive discussion or disable an account. Withdrawal does not delete the immutable source pack or erase purchase history. The creator can see the recorded publication feedback.

Use Report this design on a listing, or email the contact below with its URL and your concern. For copyright reports, include the work concerned, the material you believe is infringing and how we can contact you. Reports and staff handling notes are private to the reporting/moderation workflow.

Previews and installation

Browser previews are simulations. Creator-defined tags describe a design, not verified vehicle compatibility. Follow the installation guide and check your device's parameter bindings and available data sources.
